The superior corrosion performance of certain modified triazoles provide longer protection in high corrosive environments. Butyl benzotriazole (BBT) and Hydrogenated Tolyltriazole (THT) display a higher resistance to oxidizing biocides, high temperatures and more stressful environments. These chemicals are also very effective in the prevention of cobalt leaching in aqueous applications.
